Haiku's Italian user group has reported that Andrea Anzani is working on 'Info Popper' for Haiku. Zeta users will recall a similar utility that popped up information for programs that supported it (i.e network information, system information such as device attachment, playlist support for media player etc.). There's not too much information at this point, or if there are any releases, but there is a nice screenshot:

*Update: Andrea writes us that Info Popper shown below is a recompiled version (with minor adjustments) of the info popper in the IM_Kit. It will be based on this code and developed further. You can follow its progress and release here.
