Flash under Haiku - a reality

Adrian Panasiuk has completed part of the Flash bounty, and released Gnash binaries for Haiku. Read the details and download the binaries there. Warning, the Gnash package is linked statically for now, which makes it monstrous in size (135mb).

Adrian will be working on the Mozilla plugin next, but acknowledges his bounty deadline was a little ambitious, so we'll likely see that after Mar. 1st. We're looking forward to that!

Lots of thanks! After using strip and deleting unnecessary files the package size is now 26 MiB which is a vast improvement. This is the compressed size, though - after uncompressing it's still big - 90 MiB.

The decrease in size is over fivefold - 135 MiB / 26 MiB = 5.2 !

This is for Alpha (gcc2hybrid) - michael, this is official Haiku distro. And please Michael porting your apps (HOM&M2 and Red Alert) on Haiku Alpha, because you create soft on no supported by developers "branch" gcc4h. I know, this it can cost more work but the developers of system will help you surely. Regards
