20th TYA Nominations

Hello folks, please send/comment any nomination (with reason), you have for our upcoming Dec. Thank You Award - where we put shirts on the backs of developers Laughing

Here are the nominees for the 20th TYA:

  • Ithamar Adema (ithamar) - Progress on the ARM port
  • Jérôme Duval (korli) - Massively improving ext3 support, bus manager, audio drivers, ffmpeg/MediaKit, keeping ffmpeg, freetype and other components uptodate.
  • Philippe Houdoin (phoudoin) - Improving networking (and working on dial-up) and quite a few other things.
  • Scott McCreary (scottmc) - He has been with the project for a long time, has been a key player in HaikuPorts, an active advocate of Haiku at various LUG meetings and has helped represent Haiku at numerous conferences such as LinuxWorld/OpenSource World, SCaLE, OSCON, and LUGRadio. This year, he represented Haiku at the GSOC 2010 Mentor Summit and is currently one of the main admins of the ongoing GCI effort.
  • Pengfei Han (kurain) - As the Chinese translation manager, Pengfei has done most of the localization of Haiku apps and the translation of the Haiku User Guide to Chinese. He also single-handedly produced most of the content in Chinese that is hosted at haiku-cn.org, which includes both general info about Haiku and the community, as well as development info, including DarkWyrm's lessons.
