Regular Haikuware readers will know that two of our bounties recently expired; the TV Bounty & partially completed Wifi Encryption Bounty. According to our rules, contributors had a week to claim a refund and 15% was subtracted and added to the Thank You Award. That time has passed, and the funds were collected and put into a 'General Fund'. The amount available: $2002.09!

The time has come to decide what to do with it. For this, we'll leave this thread open to your comments. We'll then open a poll for voting based on these suggestions. Please leave detailed descriptions/proposals of what you'd like seen done with the money. i.e saying something to the effect of 'make a virtualbox bounty' will be ignored. Provide details.

My only suggestion is to donate the money to Haiku Inc. with the following conditions:

1. If accepted, an announcment of the donation on behalf of Haikuware and the bounty's donors to be posted on Haiku's website, with details on what will be done with the money (see #2).
2. The money should be used for a work contract, to implement one of the top five requested features based on a poll conducted by Haiku Inc. and voted by the community. These were #8: Wifi Encryption, #27: Boot Failure Issues, #28: Driver Issues, #17: Video Mode Setting Drivers, and (since package management is being worked on it's skipped) #3: Bootman.

Again, I'll give another week for community members to come up with any other suggestion as to what should be done with the money, after that, we'll vote on it!
