I'm going to have to cancel the Gallium Bounty between Adrian Marius Popa and Haikuware for failure to comply to our rules. The rules are very simple - among them, quarterly progress reports are mandatory. They help let us know what has (or has not been) achieved, and places a certain order of responsibility on the developer to stick to their timeline. I did email Adrian to ask about the progress, and he promised an update by May 29th - this didn't happen. The formal deadline for a progress update was June 26th - this didn't happen either.
So, if developers can't stick to deadlines, promises and rules, then we shouldn't hold on to our committment. For this reason, I'm going to open the bounty for another three months, and hope another developer will apply. After this, if there's still no results, refunds will be offered and whatever isn't refunded will be forwarded to another bounty or Haiku Inc. based on a poll. Let's hope this doesn't happen though, and that another developer applies for the bounty! We pay cash for results, if you're a developer that can provide results, >$2000 USD cash is your's. If there's any interest, please contact me...
