Infelizmente não consigo instalar o Haiku Alpha2. Durante a inicialização aparece um bug e na tentativa de instalação dá erro.

BAD :-(((

My experience so far, is that

- the Vmware image has no sound support (where Alpha 1 did).
- the MacBook I have just reboots the Alpha 2 (where Alpha 1 worked)
- less legacy application support.

update - after installing OSS www.haikuware.com/directory/view-details/drivers/audio/open-sound-system-oss on the Vmware image and rebooting, there's sound.

no sound as well on my pc laptop
still have distorted fonts. but better then alpha 1
still have problems with video driver, so i need to boot in safe video mode each time
alpha2 can be booted on 48RAM. cool! alpha1 can't run even on 96RAM

I'm not sure if you can do it with Haiku, but with BeOS you could force the VESA driver. There were some BeOS apps that helped with that like Vesa Accepted. I think all it did was write a file under /boot/home/config/settings/kernel called vesa with the resolution and depth. Best to ask on the mailing list.
