When I check out revision 119 from OSDrawer, it does not compile, because a file "logger.h" is not part of the code. I logged an issue, but there has been no activity. Also I didn't find any email contact information in the code. Hoping to get in contact with Jixt.

Hi, Most of the issues are fixed in this revision. I first need to test some parts (like the picture grid view) and the when there are no big issues anymore a final release 2.2 will come. After that we will work on version 3.0. Please test this version & tell me via OSDrawer if the issues are fixed or not. If you get new issues, don't hesitate to create new issues via the OSDrawer bugtracker. @karl Version 2.2 now only supports drag & drop. No save or download buttons anymore. This means that the user can select pictures and drag them to the desired location. So @ this moment it is not needed to have a boot/home/photos directory. But .... Version 3.0 will need that directory. This will be automatically created at startup when it is not present. Why will it be used? Well... you shall see when 3.0 arrives ;-) btw All Iphone versions & iPod touch version are supported (without crashes!). Greets Jixt

Hi Jixt, Is it possible to have a default folder that's actually in /boot/home? Or have an installer that creates the folder /boot/home/photos (or ask Haiku to make such a folder). I tested Photograbber with an Iphone: http://www.haikuware.com/details/ipone?Itemid=0 And it works. It crashed the first couple of times until I set a folder to download the pics to...

Hi cebif. At this moment, the development status of photograbber is on hold. I'm waiting for a fix(memory management) in Haiku. As long as this is not fixed, PhotoGrabber will have crashes. I would advice you to use R82 or the 2.1 version. These should work just fine. To download/import photo's you need to drag & drop the selected items. I'm hoping that Haiku can fix this memory issue(http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/3183) as fast as possible. If so, development of PhotoGrabber will continue. Greetings Jixt PS: Can you go to the development website and enter your issue in the issue tracking system? Give as much details as you can. Thx!
