Description:

The purpose of the anygui project is to create an easy-to-use, simple, and generic module for making graphical user interfaces in Python. It's main feature is that it will work transparently with many different GUI packages on most platforms.

Anygui requires python2.0 or greater to function.

The BeOS anygui backend requires Bethon 0.4.0 or later to function.

Other available backends include:

gtk, java, mswindows, curses, text and tkinter.

Version 0.1 of anygui.

Size has increased dramatically as work continues.

New backends available are textgui and cursesgui - and they work under beos!
