Iomega Parallel Zip Driver Download

Description:
This is BeOS legacy driver. It may or may not work under Haiku. It could render your system unstable
About Iomega Parallel Zip Driver:

Today I have received a new version of this very same driver, ALPHA 0.2 made by the same developer. It works fine with DriveSetup with Intel and Apple partition tables and FAT, BFS & HFS File Systems. THE FILE YOU CAN DOWNLOAD HERE INCLUDES SOURCE CODE !!! This driver has not been developed by me, but I summit it so than someone continues development. It's under GNU General Public License.

I want to thank everybody that contacted me so soon.

BeOS is still ALIVE !!!!!!!!!

Last weekend I was installing a new BeOS machine without CD-ROM and was in the need of using my Iomega Parallel Zip drive.

I recalled then to have found a Iomega Parallel driver somewhere on the web, but was surprised no one had kept developing it.

It states has working right with BeOS 4.
I have tested it in BeOS 5.0, but performance is low.
It's a bit buggy, but seems to work OK.

If somebody is interested and knows about developing parallel device drivers, please take a look at it and see if you get it performing better.

I’m sure I’m not the only one with a Iomega Parallel Zip drive willing to use it with BeOS.

Details about this version:

Alpha 0.2
Works bit buggy but better than 0.1
Works under BeOS 5.0 with Intel and Apple Partition Tables and FAT, BFS and HFS File Systems.
