Wormux 0.9.2 Download

Description:

Wormux is a free and open-source game getting its initial inspiration
from the Worms game.

Unzip to /boot.
Run with terminal: wormux.
Tested with Haiku Alpha 2 and Haiku gcc4h r.36969


Recommended installation this gcc4 library pack
from Michael - in Haiku gcc2h install in /boot/common/lib/gcc4.


Greetings for Adek336 and Sil2100 on help and Giuseppe for icon.

here is not working. fail in open the jpeg images.. maybe is something related with Haiku r35332 ? my rev is only 4 above...

yes, we knows that problem, propably something is wrong with libjpeg in newest revisions (ehhh )

In 34677 and 34722 work fine. But as I say in newest revision is problem.

Well.. a new and fresh build. sdlgame+gettext+freetype libs only

try to build again in the last revision! maybe will work!

EDIT: Don't do nothing for now. After, I install kde stuff and jpeg images are not opening. An error msg appears saying that I don't have any translator... Is a general haiku problem.. wait until the next week.

yes, I have exactly the same(screen) when I have bad library libjpeg in /common/lib, it seems that Haiku developers recently changed something in the system libjpeg in /system/lib. It can present problem.

Could a clean port be made? I don't like the *nix way of spreading the program all over the system. Having most files in /boot/apps is better IMO. Thanks.

Very good idea, I think that all apps/games should be as portable as possible ie. could be started from any directory on any drive, and have all libs included in app/game dir. This will completely override uncompatible libs problem, and dependency hell

Fixed in the new version of SDLGameLibs GCC4

was an old jpeg include file that libSDL_image linked
and that build systems makes use instead the one included within Haiku

Now I can play again!

well, it is not the issue about ../bin rather the /boot/common directory

and I was simply asking whether it is on purpose or just an accident. but sorry for disturbing. :(

this time, binary file are looking for /boot/common/wormux/data...

before you use make command
try to pass '/boot/apps/wormux' prefix, like I said above, somewhere..
