About BeSetiStat:

BeSetiStat is for easy viewing of the state of a SETI@home client running on a BeOS system.

BeSetiStat shows you:

Informations about the user

the actual statistics of the user

the data/stage of the work unit in processing

information about the client software you are running, including it's PID.

BeSetiStat is less CPU consomuing than the graphical interface of Besetiathome (more cyles left for the WU) :-).

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

The previous version of BeSetiStat had an error on the MIME type, and so it messed up some peoples systems, giving all standarb Be - Executables the BeSetiStat Icon. I am sorry for this error, please download the reconfigured Version, with a right MIME type and a Repair-Kit that tells you how to reset the Icons in your system.
Thanks to "Hoern" for the bugreport.

State of 1.0c is that the MIME type is now correct... and the package includes the "Repair-Kit"

This Version of BeSetiStat is a terminal application ( don't let the icon fool you - isnt't it cute? ;) ).

It probaly has a lot of bugs, and errors, and of course a lot of missing features, but it's mainly
the functional structure for BeSetiStat GUI-Version i want to write. I will do that when i am fit enough
with C++ and BeOS graphical interface, and if there is interest in such a "diagnostic" tool.

It is my first BeOS software, and the first C program i wrote. - If you have any comments, ideas or (bug-)reports, please drop me a line.
