About IM Kit:
The IM (Instant Messaging) Kit let's you connect to a number of IM networks such as ICQ, MSN, Yahoo and AIM and creates a connection between your People files and IM contacts.

The Kit consists of a server and a number of client applications that perform a specialized task, which means that you can add and remove functions as you see fit. It is also easy to add IM capabilities to other apps using the Kit, sending a message can be done with just a few lines of code.

The IM Kit is developed by a number of people in BeClan, including Mikael Eiman , Michael Davidson (slaad), BGA, Mikael Jansson (tic) and others.

This download includes both R5+BONE or Zeta versions.

Also, when installing, get and install the two .pkg files first, then get and unzip the zip and run the included Install.sh. If you don't do things in the right order, you might not be able to load the protocols until you've installed the libs and restarted im_server!

Variation description:
This is the base package, it contains the server, some clients and protocol add-ons for MSN, AIM, Jabber and Google Talk.

Details about this version:
It's been a while since the last alpha, so there are a lot of changes. In short, there are bug fixes, a few new protocols (Jabber and Google Talk), and a new client with emoticons. For more specifics, check the included docs!

Oh, and the Zeta version it's compiled for is R1.1, so perhaps there's trouble with earlier versions. If so, let us know.
