Kadu is an open source gadu-gadu protocol instant messenger client for Linux, BSD, Mac and now for Haiku too.

Unzip to /boot.
Requires Qt for Haiku - tested with this pack(link).
Tested on Haiku R1 Alpha1.

Nice! This also do Jabber? Hmm, someone should post QT here. Although, they are in the QT Demo Browser here:

Maybe you could add that, or link to QT for Haiku at OSDrawer.

No. Now is only GG. But propably in coming 0.7 will be added another protocol.

Hi,

Support for XMPP/Gtalk/jabber will be added in 0.6.6 version of Kadu IM. For now we still are useful mostly for users from Poland :)

btw. We at KaduTeam wonder if this port for Haiku needed any patches applied in kadu? If yes, can you post those patches on our forum for review?

We are very glad to see Kadu working on Haiku. :) One of our devs added Haiku port to our download[PL] site as unsupported version, we hope it is OK for you.

btw. Kaliber, can You rebuild this KADU app on completely clean system?

libraries that are required by current KADU are really messy [ *.so.1.5 / *.so.0.3 .. ].
