About BNews:

BNews is a full feature freeware Usenet news reader, for BeOS 4.5 or 5.0. It has spell checking, Uuencode/decode support for binaries, ROT13, Killfiling, the ability to keep articles, and view them again later, offline; and reply via email.

BNews is a full feature freeware Usenet news reader, for BeOS 4.5 of 5.0. It has spell checking for both news and mail, with the ability to learn new words, via ?add? whilst
spell checking. It also supports Uueecode/decode for binaries, and will optionally auto-save decoded binaries, as well as offer the option of launching them. BNews can Encode and send binaries up to a 7900 line limit. BNews has a built in ROT13 encoder/decoder, allows you to edit and save a signature which you can optionally append to any article you send, it gives you the option of 'x-no-archive' at the click of a checkbox.
When reading a thread you can navigate it with [Next] and [Previous] buttons, you can save articles to read offline, and BNews will by default save all sent articles.
Both Kept and Sent can be easily viewed in BNews. You have the option of replying Via Email, and of killfiling,(there are several killfiling and filtering options); BNews
Supports INN, and as the option of user authentication. All these features and more are fully documented and of course BNews is free! Source available for download. Distributed on GPL. 6th. Nov. 2004.
