Shouldn't this be with the other HTML editers and not with the IDEs ?

Because the HtmlED ist a “Integrated Development Envorinment” to editing web-source codes. I dont know why the other html editors dont list under IDEs, but i think it is the right place for it.

Yes i think for the moment is it final. I have added the most important things. No app is really ready any time. if i get bug reports i will change then and if i get ideas i will check if i can add them. there are some things i will add in the future.

Yes , giving ability to open html in 3 different browser's because sometimes HTML looks different on different browsers, especially when compare Arora and BonEcho..

Yes this is right, you only can select default, max size and fullscreen. A resize makes no sense, because you need the place for the listboxes and other things. If you want to use many apps at the same time, i only can tell you try to use workspaces.

+1 # RE: RE: RE: WebConcept Creatorsparklewind 2010-08-01 15:49
No no, the default size is very small. Some users might want to make it bigger (without going max size or fullscreen). I am on a 24" monitor. Do you have a thing against choice? This is like removing the titlebar "because users can figure out what app they're running". Being able to change the window size to one you prefer does make sense. Leaving it out is just poor design.

And no I am not into workspaces.

This means redesigning whole app.. i know it , because i made the same thing in SPM..

You have to do that? How is it possible to be that way? Is this an issue with the Be API?

It is no problem to make more hard coded sizes in a newer version, but i need informations about it and i need someone to check it, because i dont have a monitor to test it by myself.

No, i made few shortcuts in SPM, and dont wanna complicate things [and mess up the code], so i decided to use only Maximize window to fit the screen..

I think Lelldorin uses the same tactics :)..

The problem is, that i need a monitor with a screensize like someone with a 24" monitor to test everything like this. And i make a hard code screen, because they are to many elements to chanfge everytime the screen size are changed. Everything i can easy do is, to add some fixed screen sizes, but i need informations about it from the users they use it. And someone to test it.

I see. The problem makes more sense then. I hope you will make the code more "complicated" in the future then. :)

Well this isn't really the point I am trying to make. I don't want more fixed sizes, I want to be able to manually change it to whatever size I might want, without having to ask you to modify the code again to add a particular size. If say, WebPositive had this issue, there would probably be an outrage, or people would just shun it.

If you are simply unable to fix this due to not being that good at programming though, then I am sorry. I am not personally a programmer so mocking someone for a lack of skill is definitely not my intent.

I have added a resize support for the Main window. It was not so complicated as i thinked about it. Please check for me the layout, is it ok on your 24" monitor?

Thanks for taking the time. I was just going to test it now. I fired up the latest gcc4hybrid nightly LiveCD and tried to run WebConceptor, but it just opened and closed immediately. Should I go with another version of Haiku?

Thanks, I just tried it and it works, although a bit glitchy (The window gets blank while resizing until you're done, and when you have resized it the window moves away from its position). Could you add a button in the right corner of the window decorator, to get max size (And reverse when max size is already on), too?

I have tried to activate the zoombutton in den window tab, but this makes problems with the solution with the resize option, so i add shortcuts to switch to default, maxsize and fullsxreen. I think this will be ok for the moment. I will see if i can get and use the window position then someone resize the window to set the window back to that position. The blank screen is a stackview i switched, because it looks ugly then i dont do it (all widgets are moving around erverythere). But i am working on new ideas for this problem.

Add a installer for WCC. The installer check if libncurses and libstdc++.so.6 are available and start up the gcc2 or gcc4 installer.
