Easel is a 2D painting software, which mostly makes use of "natural" paints.

The biggest innovation in Easel is that it allows you to use a computer for something that has been done by generations before ours: exploring the limitless possibilities of painting, drawing and sketching. From its inception, Easel was designed to make the difference between traditional and computer painting fade away. To achieve those goals, Human Touch, inc. has developed a unique technology that allows to fully mimic the behavior of natural
painting tools commonly in use by artists. In other words, with Easel a stroke is a stroke, not a succession of artificial bits.

Variation description:

This is the full, unlimited version of Easel 1.0. The HumanTouch web site is down for more than a year now, and there is no other way for new BeOS users to find and download this unique piece of software. This is why we are now hosting it on BeNews and link it through BeBits, for everyone's convienience.

Please remember that we cannot answer support emails, as this software is not ours, and it is not being developed anymore by its creators.

These are additional filters to install and work with Easel's graphics package. Please unzip this .zip file on your Easel folder and then start Easel. Now you can make use of these filters.
