About GIMP:

The GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed piece of software suitable for such tasks as photo retouching, image composition and image authoring.

GIMP requires GTK+ and the X11 environment (Xbeos).

Details about this version:

-Requires a BeOS with BONE
-Requires the GTK+ port to X11 with shared libraries
-Requires the X11-6.4.3 port (Xbeos)

NOTE:

Missing features:

-No help browser is builtin (just open the html documentation in your www browser)
-No printing support

Known Bugs:

-Opening the pattern selection window inside a plugin makes GIMP lose itself (if you keep the plugin open that appears to be frozen while launching that plugin again, the plugin will 'unfreeze'). Patterns do work however, and the pattern selection from the main GIMP window works fine.

This application no longer works, even with the proper dep's.

Have you x11 installed?

Look at this tutorial, but i dont know if it is running on haiku (tested on Zeta for some years):

To translate use a translation tool, it is german only.
