No.. actually only SDL (until someone does both media kit and bwindow implementations)

SMPlayer, Frontend GUI for mplayer that needs Qt (Builds and runs, but have serious issues), see the second screenshot

I created a mPlayer Widget [later on i'll add it into HaikuWidgets] to "quick drag & drop files and play" all video files [ drag and drop works even from NTFS partition ] in mPlayer. Check it out, and give feedback..

Michael, can You check libs paths in mplayer, coz while im using official SDL gcc4 libs from repo, i need to add a symbolic link into /common/lib because mplayer cannot see sdl lib from /common/lib/gcc4

Hi!!

MARVELOUS WIDGET!! I'll add a link to it here!

about the libs, please copy SDL gcc4 libs inside mplayer/lib folder ;D

/commom/lib - /commom/lib/gcc4 problem is related to haiku_loader from gcc2 hybrid...

Interesting, but a separate video window was what I hated the most about the old VLC port.

This requires the writing of native vout driver for mplayer with indirect drawing support.

this mplayer key used for embedding video:

"-wid
This tells MPlayer to use a X11 window, which is useful to embed MPlayer in a browser (with the plugger extension for instance)."

+1 # building mplayer HOWTO!khallebal2 2011-12-04 13:44
hi michael
this one does not work on the latest builds anymore.
would you be kind to post the options you used with ./configure and the deps that i might need to get it to build?
this will save me a great deal of time searching for the right info.
also is it possible to drop SDL as a dep?
thanks
