According to the dev that ported it:
Quote:
The current version is stable and native with a native GUI. I only put KOffice here because there really hasn't been an updated Office suite in the BeOS/Haiku community for years now.
This is an issue for core developers. Originally this was optional for POSIX compliance. Now SIGINFO is required but not yet implemented in Haiku.

Also, missing of SIGINFO stop me when I try to port Cherokee Web server. (Nice little and fast webserver with friendly and neat administration panel)

add a wiki entry for Cherokee, then add a dependency for the previous SIGINFO bug? This will add importance for adding SIGINGO. Thanks!
Here two tickets related with SIGINFO in Haiku's bug tracker:

saw this version pop up on IRc chat on the haiku channel. This version will play DVD's from disc decss is handled as well.

btw. I tested this alpha version (1.0.4 from Miqlas) and had problems with runing it.
Because SDL used for video, there are various bugs, like a mouse, and the interface
can you share your source files ? I'd like to work on this and get it working right. Not only that lets try some binarys and see how they work.also given that openGL works now it may be possiable to use opengl.
and it won't build, fails on a ton of depndancys.
also the make files don't appear to be propery configured.
