About GrabboCam:

GrabboCam is a full-featured webcam/surveillance application for BeOS. Besides the usual webcam features (periodic ftp of stills), it uses sophisticated motion-detection to trigger recordings of stills and/or movies; each frame can be timestamped with the current date and time. Notification of the motion event can be via email, and/or audio (for "eyes-free" monitoring).

Details about this version:

release 1.0.1: Dec 2, 2000

Work-around for port leak in BSimpleGameSound, which would cause BeOS to
hang once all the ports were used up after about a week running GrabboCam.
Changed ftp client to not use passive mode, which made some servers unhappy.
Sped up motion detection alg a bit. (use 2 Gaussians instead of 3 in pixel model).
