About FAMe Accounting:

The Friendly Account Manager helps you to keep a house-hold budget, manage multiple accounts, draw pie/bar charts ...etc Very easy to use thanks to contextual help. Several of its features were requested by Quicken users, although FAMe's goal isn't to be as full-featured, but rather to keep light-weight and implement only the most useful bits.

Friendly, easy to use GUI :
* contextual help so that you're familiar with the UI in seconds without reading the user's manual
* Font-sensitive, resizable interface to adapt to any scrren resolution and take advatage of higher ones
* Fully localized (text translations, date format, numerical separator ..etc)
* Easy keyboard nvigation, menu shortcuts ..etc
* All windows except requesters are non-modal.
* extensive preferences

Sane foundations :
* support for multiple accounts in one file, so that transfers have to be typed only once
* up to 256 items per fields (ie up to 256 accounts / transaction type / means
of payment ..etc) which are looked-up and not hardcoded (ie if
you rename one it takes effect in all the file all at once)
* internal powerful query-like system of charts
* both the executable and the saved accounting files are very compact. "slim, not fat" :-)

Both open and integrated :
* QIF import/Export, opened to Quicken
* BeOS native look and feel, above-average multithreading (extra document_server thread)

Fully fonctional trial version, but limited to 40 transactions per account.

Details about this version:

Very few changes since beta9/FC1: fixed a memory leak, added support for Home/End keys ..etc.
