Provides very minimal spreadsheet functions. Source code is available if someone wants to extend this.

Makes me think about GDocs, and Microsoft. Microsoft was supposed to come out with an online ad-supported version of Office. Have they? If so, wonder if it works in Web+ ??

Yeah, http://spreadsheets.google.com works under WebPositive. But it's kind of slow. It would be nice to have a Haiku native spreadsheet.

Quick and dirty build of OpenSum-It under Haiku-gcc4.

Binaries (Debug and Striped versions):
http://www.failai.lt/zfotsvr1frno/OpenSum-It-0.1-dev1-haiku-gcc4-bin.zip.htm
it would be there ~30 days.

Sources and patches:
When i will clean sources, i will prepare patches and will submit to http://dev.osdrawer.net/projects/sum-it.

As promised all required changes for building Open Sum-It on Haiku submited to svn:

http://dev.osdrawer.net/projects/sum-it

Added automatic gcc version detection script to makefile, so it's possible to build with both gcc2 and gcc4 without worries.

Happy building and testing :)

P.S. Karl, could you change homepage to http://dev.osdrawer.net/projects/sum-it, because it's new home of OpenSum-It, thanks in advance:)

Good! I'll create a good .bep file for it to Haikuports

Screenshots?

.bep file? checkout svn repository and build, it's not a port :) It's old good and open sourced BeOS app.

There is life after death :)

Thanks Michaelvoliveira.

Yes, it's even more easier to compile with Be/Haikuporter.

All it needs is lots more functions!

Left comment (http://dev.osdrawer.net/boards/209/topics/160) in project forum with a few links about newer excel format, functions and etc. in case somebody will want to help :)

There are some known old bugs (http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=2655&atid=102655) and new ones, so i'll try to locate and fix them at first and by that familiarize more with code. Untill that functions will have to wait :)

It might be good to attach a screenshot

+3 # adding complex formulasandrewzx1 2010-08-05 10:16
BeCalc has code for parsing and evaluating complex formulas with variables. If someone where interested they could take that code and add formula features to Sum It.
