About ICOTranslator:
A translator for ICO files with read/write capabilities.
ICOTranslator is a translator for Windows icons (files with the .ICO suffix); it can be used to load and save these icons. For example, it can be used to create the favicon.ico file that is displayed as mini icon for web pages in browsers like Mozilla/Firefox or the Internet Explorer.
It supports reading and writing of 1, 4, and 8 bit palette, as well as 16, 24, and 32 bit true color images. It will automatically select a proper output format.

- Initial release.
This is a beta release: it's not complete and thoroughly tested yet, but it seems to work fine. The configuration options are not yet connected, and only show the default settings. Please report any bugs you can find, and, if possible, include the image files the translator failed on in your report.
