About Matrix Code:

A simple, yet convincing "emulation" of the code streams seen in the movie The Matrix.

This screensaver is a port of the Matrix Code screensaver seen at www.louai.com. It's not like most other Matrix screensavers out there, that uses OpenGL or bitmaps to display graphics. The Matrix Code screensaver uses standard BeOS functions to display characters from standard BeOS True Type fonts.

So, instead of green Japanese signs running down your screen, you can have red Cthulhu glyphs or golden Tolkien runes!


Details about this version:

A memory leak which occured in the configuration screen (Screensaver Preferences) was plugged.

An icon and File Type descriptor was properly added.

This is a great screensaver, unfortunately the matrix font that is included has a few glitches with R1/Alpha1 but it works great with the courier font.

Interface could use an update as some text is scrambled. Sometimes requires multiple clicks to start Test mode. After that it runs OK and looks very cool.
