About BatteryStatus:

An application which displays APM data (AC adaptor, battery level, etc...) with an animated Deskbar icon.

Features:

application stays in the Deskbar

MiniMode (smaller Deskbar icon)

animated battery icon

warnings for low and critical battery level (tooltip/sound)

you can specify your own sounds under preferences->sounds

shutdown at critical battery level (abort via menu or by connecting the AC adaptor)
