Gutenprint Port

Bringing Gutenprint over to Haiku would bring the possibility of having hundreds of supported printers under Haiku.

Michael already has the core of Gutenprint built for Haiku. From here on, and within a timeframe of six months, Michael plans to:

complete a Haiku 'libprint' based printer add-on that utilizes Gutenprint for generation of printer specific data.
be able to select a Gutenprint supported printer through Haiku's printing preferences application.
integrate Gutenprint's configuration option (i.e paper sizes, quality, etc) into the printer add-on.
fix printer related bug #6008

Note: support will be limited to devices for which a working transport add-on is available (i.e USB).
