Smash Battle is an 8-bit style platform game

 

Smash Battle is a cross platform, 8-bit style game where two, three or four player face off against each other.
The game was inspired by the mario battle minigame from mario 3 when we started developing, but changed a lot over time.

Notes about this version

* Smash Battle needs of a gcc4 version of LibSDL to run, that can be found here:

Four snow levels

Story mode

Laser beam, which shoots at all other players, starting with the enemy with the most health

Shield powerup, which makes you invincible for a few seconds

A new soundtrack for the night levels

Small improvements and bugfixes

***HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLAY IN HAIKU GCC4 OR GCC4HYBRID*** on haiku gcc2 or haiku gcc2hybrid media_addon_server will crash on start and you don't have sound in the game
