Description:

BeOS/Haiku Logo "Copy name to clipboard" is a Tracker add-on that does exactly, what the name says: It copies file names of the selected files (together with their paths) into the clipboard.

Changes in v1.0.1

* Make code compilable under Haiku.
* Create a Paladin project instead of BeIDE projects.
* Create a vector icon used in a rdef file instead of rsrc.
* Installation via drag&drop.
* Add CONTROL modifier to print one file name per line.

Hi there!

I wasn't able to install the .pkg inside the zip archive. So I tried to compile it from the included source, which failed.

Since this add-on is hosted on OSDrawer, I played around a bit. A new version is now available at

http://dev.osdrawer.net/projects/copynametoclipboard

Here are the changes:
* Make code compilable under Haiku.
* Create a Paladin project instead of BeIDE projects.
* Create a vector icon used in a rdef file instead of rsrc.
* Installation via drag&drop.
* Added CONTROL modifier to print one file name per line.

I suppose I should add this only works under GCC4? *transferred ownership to you..

Works here with a quite current gcc2 hybrid Haiku adn I also tested on Alpha3. What seems to be the problem?

oh, i thought tracker add-ons only worked with GCC4 builds.

I'm not sure, about the details... I think add-ons compiled with gcc2 will work on gcc2 and gcc2hybrid images.
Anyway... thanks for updating the page. I have uploaded the new version 1.0.1.
