Details about this version:
This is Beta 4, a fresh build of BurnItNow, based on the orignal source code that was open sourced by Johan Nilsson in 2002. There's been a handful of bug fixes in the version. If you have any issue with this version open a new ticket on the OSDrawer BurnItNow project page.
A complete rewrite of this is already in progress, keep an eye on the project page for further details.
If you are using Haiku build on or after September 26th, 2010 you should be able to install BurnItNow using "installoptionalpackage burnitnow" in terminal, that will install the proper version for your current build (gcc2/gcc4). - Submitted On:

Use installoptionalpackage -a burnitnow
That should install the correct version and work for you. If you use older Haiku, then you'll have to download BurnItNow and install it yourself.
One issue is compiling programs on newer Haiku and trying to run on older Haiku version or even the opposite of this. Sometimes the programs will work and other times you get missing symbols!
