Description:
FreeGrep is a BSD-licensed grep implementation.  This build was taken from the git repo and has no version per se.  So we'll call it 1.x.  included is modified source and the binary.

I think it's just a change in license, but zgrep and friends can search in a z compressed file.

I found a bit of a bug in this version of grep while (oddly enough) testing it on the freegrep source code. If Haiku tags a file with a MIMEtype, freegrep thinks that it is a binary file. I'm currently working on trying to fix this. I'm going to try to have someone *describe* how GNU grep did it so I don't accidentally copy their code and taint freegrep with the GPL.
