Fclock - A simple alarm clock for Haiku. It allows you to set your time and a customize alarm sound. (anything that mediaplayer can playback)
Installation:
Just extract the zip archive and doubleclick the file FClock
You can quit the app by pressing q for a long time or by pressing ALT+Q .
To set the alarm time press the alarm clock or press and hold a . ( pressing a seems a little slow)
I recommened you to initially setup your alarm time by starting fclock in a terminal with the parameter -c .
Here you can find a little introduction screencast of FClock: http://blip.tv/file/3746667
If you have tips or enhancements let me know ;)
Source is included.
Requirements: awk, tail, tar, bzip2 (should be included in most Haiku revisions)
Note: This program is a portable app. If you want to share it with your friends you need only to copy the executable FClock file.

Greetings Lelldorin
With which haiku revision are you testing it ?
It runs fine with r37035 and above as there seems to be a mktemp command in there.
The same goes for ALT+Q.
And btw. if it doesn't work you can always switch to another desktop (ALT+F2..F4) and quit the app there.
I think I will include a simple close button in the gui on the next update if it is still an issue
Maybe some of your code for this app could be of use for that.
